meet Dr. Matt,
a relentless researcher of medical science and a caring listener with deep roots in Psychology, Eastern Medicine, Herbology, Nutritional Biochemistry, and Pharmacology.
ABOUT
A TRULY INTEGRATIVE PERSPECTIVE
I often describe myself as being 'medically bilingual', since the Eastern and Western medical systems are essentially different languages.
I've always had a powerful drive toward fluency in all medical perspectives that makes me a natural translator, a bridge between worlds, a teacher, and a practitioner who can look at any issue from many, many different angles.
I love hard science just as much as I love the mystical, ecologically harmonic qualities of our planet's beautiful history of ancient healing traditions.
EXPERIENCE
I've spent the last fifteen years studying and practicing Eastern Medicine, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, herbology, pharmacology, QiGong, psychology, and anything else that falls under the umbrella of 'Integrative Medicine'.
I can approach any health condition using a variety of different lenses, although I draw most heavily on my training in clinical nutrition, herbology, lifestyle medicine, acupuncture, and biochemistry.

WHAT TO EXPECT
During your consultation, we will discuss:
• Your full medical history
• All your symptoms, labs, and diagnoses
• Your dietary habits
• Your prescription drugs (and Drug-Induced Nutrient Depletions)
• Which avenues of treatment have worked or not worked for you thus far
• Your nutritional supplements regimen, and whether it's working for you or not
• The biochemical, pathogenic, environmental, lifestyle, and emotional factors underlying your conditions
• Whatever you think may be holding you back from making changes, and new approaches to start the next chapter of your healing
Afterward, you will receive a customized 6-8 page action plan that includes:
• Lifestyle, dietary habits, and food healing suggestions
• Lab review + additional lab recommendations
• A detailed supplement protocol in spreadsheet form with calculated price per month, made according to your budget
• An explanation of the possible biochemical, pathogenic, environmental, and lifestyle factors underlying your conditions
• Protocols using healing technologies like: reflective phototherapy acupoint stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, electromagnetic grounding, and more
• Suggested referrals
• A plan that gets you relief NOW but also sets you on a path to deep healing
Before our first session, you will complete a thorough health questionnaire so I can have the most comprehensive picture of your health history before we begin.
NOTE: all consultations are remote, allowing me to work with you anywhere in the world. They're also done via telephone as opposed to Zoom, which cuts down on screen time, call preparation, and allows you more freedom of movement during our time together.
